Books for Bockstael – that is one of the aims of the Quartier durable citoyen.

Create book boxes, exchange what you have read, pass it on to others.

Several possibilities for such a book swap have been created in the past few years.

From BookswapSalon at the Maison de la Creation to its smaller sister BookswapBox. But the Bockstael area has also seen Boekenruilkasten emerging, as an initiative from the Brede School Laken.

If you weren’t lucky to find what you were looking for,  there are of course also more classical ways to find the right book.

Did you know that the Bibliothèque de Laeken had the biggest comic strip collection of all libraries in Brussels?
