Getting rid of your waste & other items
Your household waste will be collected following the calendar of Bruxelles Propreté, which varies depending on the street you live in. In principle your household waste should be sorted. Dedicated bags should be used which you can buy in the supermarkets.
Glass should be brought to glassbanks.
Certain waste should be brought to the Recypark. The for Laeken the closest one is near the Van Preat bridge. Check out the opening hours, do not forget your ID-card and note that waiting times can be long.
Clothes and other stuff in good shape
Clothes in good condition can be deposited in the deposit containers of Les Petits Riens. See the map to locate them in Laeken.
You can also deposit women and children clothes (and other kids stuff) at Maison Mosaïque (Grenier des casseuses de crise). The Grenier is open from 10:30-15:00. You can also deposit during opening hours for the Maison Mosaïque.
The Kringwinkel accepts all of your stuff in good shape to resell it second hand. They also have a collect service.
